| Mourning the loss of everyone's favourite planet
(Earth is pretty cool too)
The planet named after the Disney dog, Pluto, is no longer a planet. Damn scientists. I just went to Chile and taught kindergarten kids that Pluto is the 9th planet, in english and spanish. All our lives we learnt that Pluto is the farthest and smallest planet. Shows how subjective knowledge can be.
Pluto failed to "dominate its orbit"! I thought Pluto was better than that. It will now join a category of "dwarf planets". Must be terrible for Pluto's self-esteem.

| I'm an Uncle!!! Again!!!
Little ____(they are not sure of the name yet) was born this morning at 4:45am! It's a boy! ahhhhh sooo exciting! I want to go to vancouver right now and see him....maybe I will, then come back with Bel and Ivan on Saturday...hmmmm...I will look into it
Thank you to my sister for having so many kids that I can be an uncle to. That makes 3!! wow!!!

Also, how can Stephen Harper not show up at the World AIDS Conference in Toronto?
It's an international conference on the most important pandemic/general health problem facing the world today and the leader of the host country doesn't bother to show up. WTF, mate. |
